Following the publication in the December 1999 issue of the magazine "Histoire" of an article entitled "Histoire du négationnisme en France" (History of Holocaust denial in France), Robert Y... requested a right of reply - The director of the publication published only part of the text sent by Robert Y... to the magazine because the revisionist author stated, in reference to the Auschwitz extermination camp: "[translation] they lied, they are lying, they will lie" - Robert Y.. .. had the director of the publication summoned before the criminal court for refusal to publish - The judges at first instance sentenced the director - The Court of Cassation dismissed the appeal lodged by the director against the decision and confirmed the sentence - It was not a question of disputing crimes against humanity, the entire text should have been published.
