Contempt of a public official (Outrage à une personne dépositaitre de l’autorité publique) – Two teachers who, in the presence of an official of the French secret service and in response to a pupil's questions, stated aloud that the French secret service had been active as "political police", and who later used this statement to explain to the pupil the role of the police under the Vichy regime, during the Occupation, and in particular the responsibility of the secret service in compiling a file on Jews which facilitated the round-ups and deportations, were expressing their own feelings – It does not constitute any offences against the respect and dignity of public officials.   Art. 433- 5, 433-22 Code pénal
