Denial of crimes against humanity (Contestation de crimes contre l'humanité) – A man displayed posters bearing the words "Auschwitz 125,000 dead" in public view, and published the same words on the front page of issue 43 of the monthly magazine Révision, of which he was publication director - The Court of Appeal stated that the mere indication of a number of victims, even one far lower than the most moderate estimates, could not constitute the contestation of crimes against humanity provided for by the law, which does not define either directly, or by the decisions of the courts to which it refers, the number of victims as a constituent element of the offence.
