Divorce and marriage under Mosaic law (Divorce et marriage selon les lois mosaiques) – A judgment refusing to recognise that a marriage celebrated in Italy between two foreigners in accordance with the rules of Mosaic law had been dissolved by a ruling of the Rabbinical Court of Paris is legally justified – In France there can be no divorce without a court decision and acts of religious authorities have no civil effect in this respect.
